Crowdpear

Crowdpear is a Lithuanian crowdfunding platform based in Vilnius. UAB Crowdpear was entered in the Lithuanian register on 30 August 2021 and opened to investors in January 2023. The Bank of Lithuania authorised it as a crowdfunding service provider on 25 July 2023 under code LB002204, and the licence is passported to Portugal and Romania. Investors finance loans to property developers and small businesses in Lithuania, Romania and Portugal. Every loan is secured by a first or second mortgage on real estate or by another pledge, surety or guarantee, and there is no buyback guarantee, so a borrower default falls on the investor. The minimum investment is 100 euros per loan, and claims can be sold to other investors on a secondary market for a fee of 2 percent of the transaction amount. There is no auto-invest: in its regulatory disclosure Crowdpear states that it does not provide individual loan portfolio management, so every investment is chosen by hand. Crowdpear says its shareholders also own PeerBerry, and both platforms work out of the same address in Vilnius.
