Esketit

Esketit is a peer-to-peer lending platform launched in 2020 by Matiss Ansviesulis and Davis Barons, who had founded the consumer lender AvaFin (formerly CreamFinance) in 2012. Investors buy claim rights on loans that partner lenders have already issued: consumer and car loans in Malaysia and Kazakhstan, mortgage-backed loans in Latvia, and business loans to lending ventures with portfolios in Spain, Sri Lanka and the Middle East. Several of those lenders belong to the same founders. The buyback is owed by the lender rather than by the platform and applies once a borrower is more than 60 days late. There is a secondary market. Since October 2025 the platform has been operated from Zagreb by Esketit Platform d.o.o.; claims bought before that date stay with the Irish company Esketit Platform Limited.
