Devon

Devon is an Estonian company, Devon OU, registered in Tallinn on 5 March 2025 and wholly owned since April 2025 by SIA MJL Enterprises of Riga, itself registered in 2018. The platform went live in April 2025. Devon borrows directly from registered lenders and uses the money to finance the group's real estate developments in Latvia, so lenders contract with Devon rather than with the company that holds a project and have no claim against the development. Devon's risk statement of 22 May 2026 sets out a qualified subordination: interest and principal may be paid only while Devon's assets exceed all of its non-subordinated liabilities, in insolvency the claim ranks behind every other creditor, and the loan is treated as economic equity. Devon states that it offers no financial services, is under no financial supervision and holds no financial licence. There is no buyback obligation and no secondary market. Interest accrues daily and can be paid out or reinvested, and the minimum loan is 1,000 EUR.
