Monefit

Monefit SmartSaver is an Estonian investment platform operated by Monefit Investments OÜ in Tallinn, part of Creditstar Group, which has been lending in Europe since 2006. Investors do not fund new loans. They buy claims, assigned by Monefit, on consumer loans that Creditstar companies have already issued in eight European markets: Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Poland, Czechia, Spain and the United Kingdom. Money in the Main Account earns 7.5% a year, accrued daily and withdrawable at any time; funds committed to a Vault for a fixed term earn more but cannot be released early. There is no secondary market and no buyback guarantee. Exiting means Monefit repurchasing the claims out of its own liquidity, so being paid out depends on Creditstar continuing to service and repurchase the underlying loans. The company investors contract with, Monefit Investments OÜ, holds no financial licence of its own; the Creditstar companies that issue the loans are licensed creditors in Estonia.
