Asterra Estate
Asterra Estate is operated by Asterra Estate OU, an Estonian company registered in Tallinn on 17 February 2025 and wholly owned by Edgars Putnis, who is also its sole board member. The platform opened to lenders in June 2025. Lenders lend to Asterra Estate OU itself, which owns the Latvian companies developing Asteres Village in Adazi near Riga, so the contract is with the platform company and there is no claim against a project. The risk statement of 20 May 2026 sets out a qualified subordination: interest and principal may be paid only while the borrower's assets exceed all of its non-subordinated liabilities, in insolvency the claim ranks behind every other creditor, and the loan is treated as economic equity carrying the risk of total loss. The company states that it offers no financial services, is under no financial supervision and holds no financial licence. There is no buyback obligation and no secondary market. Interest accrues daily and can be paid out or compounded, and the minimum loan is 1,000 EUR.
