Lande
LANDE is a Latvian crowdfunding platform for agricultural loans, run from Riga by SIA LANDE Platform. Farmers in Latvia, Lithuania, Romania and Poland borrow against farmland, machinery, harvest or livestock, usually with a personal guarantee on top, and investors take part from 50 euros per project. Latvijas Banka authorised the company as a European crowdfunding service provider on 7 February 2024 under licence 27-10/2024/23, with the right to provide the service across the EU. There is no buyback guarantee: repayment depends on the farmer and, failing that, on the collateral. Claims can be sold to other investors on the platform's bulletin board before maturity, and an auto-invest function places money to set criteria.
