Finbee

Finbee is a Lithuanian peer-to-peer lending platform that went live in 2015 and is run from Vilnius. Investors lend to Lithuanian consumers and small businesses from one account, starting at 5 euros per loan. Three group companies stand behind the brand, each with its own entry in the Bank of Lithuania register: UAB Finansų bitė is listed as a consumer credit provider and as a peer-to-peer lending platform operator, UAB Finansų bitė verslui runs the business-loan side under crowdfunding service provider authorisation LB002223 of 10 November 2023, and UAB Elektroninių pinigų bitė holds the electronic money institution licence that keeps investor money apart from the platform's own funds. Finbee sets each interest rate from the borrower's credit grade and the loan term. There is no buyback guarantee and consumer loans are unsecured, but investors can sell loan parts to each other on a free secondary market, and an auto-lending tool bids to set criteria.
