Brickstarter

Brickstarter is a Spanish real estate investment platform, live since 2017 and run from Valencia by Brickstarter SL. It finances short-let and room-rental apartments in Spain, and since 2024 also the conversion of commercial premises into flats for resale. Brickstarter buys and pre-finances each property itself and then assigns investors part of its own loan claim under a loan assignment contract, so an investor holds a claim and not a share in the property. The minimum is 50 EUR. Until a property goes into operation the investment pays a fixed 5 percent a year; after that the return comes from the rent and from the proceeds when the property is sold. A secondary marketplace lets investors sell a position early, and Brickstarter can suspend it: it did so on 11 February 2026 after problems with the wallets at its payment provider Lemonway.
