Stikcredit
Stikcredit is the investor marketplace of Stik Credit JSC, a Bulgarian consumer lender founded in Shumen in 2013. Investors here did not lend to the company: they bought assigned claims against individual borrowers, while Stik Credit JSC was at once the only loan originator, the buyback obligor and the operator of the platform, so the whole exposure rested on one company. The loans were short-term and instalment consumer loans to Bulgarian borrowers, and a claim more than 60 days late was repurchased on the 61st day. Stik Credit JSC is entered in the Bulgarian National Bank's register of financial institutions under article 3a of the Credit Institutions Act as number BGR00370; that entry covers its lending and leasing business, not the marketplace, and the platform's own terms state that its activity is not governed by the law on investment intermediaries and that invested funds are not covered by any investor compensation scheme. In December 2023 the operator moved this marketplace to the Stikcredit name and placed the licensed platform in a separate company, Afranga EOOD. Since Afranga began operating under that licence in 2025, Stikcredit takes no new deposits and lists no new loans; the site stays open until the outstanding claims are repaid and is then to be closed.
