MoneyZen

MoneyZen is an Estonian P2P consumer lending platform founded in 2013 and based in Tallinn. The operator Moneyzen OÜ, registry code 12541882, holds credit intermediary licence 4.1-1/131, granted by Finantsinspektsioon on 29 August 2016 for intermediating credit to consumers. Borrowers are private individuals living in Estonia who take unsecured loans of 500 to 10,000 euros for renovation, education, travel, a car or refinancing. Admiral Markets bought the platform at the start of 2021, and since 5 March 2026 it has belonged to BB Finance Group OÜ, which also owns the licensed Estonian lender BB Finance OÜ. During 2025 MoneyZen limited and then temporarily stopped issuing new loans while the sale was being prepared. Investors set their own criteria from 20 euros and the platform makes the loan offers automatically, and claims can be sold to other investors on a secondary market. There is no buyback: the ZenFund, paid for by a borrower fee, may compensate investors for losses on insolvent borrowers, but it is not obliged to.
