Crowdestate
Crowdestate was a European real estate crowdfunding platform that went live in Estonia in 2014. Investors financed development projects, bridge loans, mezzanine tranches and equity stakes in Estonia, Latvia, Romania, Italy, Portugal and Finland, and the platform had a secondary market and an auto-invest tool. Crowdestate announced the closure of the platform on 11 April 2025, and on 13 April 2026 Finantsinspektsioon revoked its crowdfunding licence at the company's own request. No new projects are offered and the secondary market is closed. Existing investors can still log in: money on the investment account can be withdrawn to their own bank account, and repayments from the remaining projects are still being collected and credited as they come in. Crowdestate AS holds an Estonian payment institution licence (4.1-1/82, granted on 21 June 2021) and is repositioning itself as a technology and payments provider for other platforms.
